Hey,

I started to blog.

I am going to tell you a story that you would have all heard in the past, very good one.. Our gannys and grandpa’s have told this to us over ages.. So why am i repeating this?? May be I have something to say at the end??

Ok !! Once there was a villager, who thought he was quite smart. He thought he could almost trick anybody in the village. He invented new methods to trick people and the villagers were almost everytime fall for his tricks.

This time. This smart pants trickster decided on something a bit severe. He thought along the lines of a practicle prank.

“Lion is attacking me!!! HELP HELP”.. shouted the trickster. The whole village gathered at the site with torches and drums and whatever they could carry along to save this guy. When they finally reached the spot, they were shocked abysmal to see this guy sitting on a cot eating bananas. When he saw the village there, he laughed his A** out and said.. Ok guys go back to your homes. I was kidding.. The village cheif got completely ticked off with this False alarm this man raised and warned him not to do this again.. The poor villagers left the spot being dissappointed about this guy.

Couple of weeks later…

A big cry again…” HELP HELP.. LION IS TRYING TO KILL ME”..

Again, with no prejudice attached with the previous incident, the whole village gathered there. Again to their shock, there was nothing there and this guy had tricked them again..The villagers were very dissappointed at this guy and the Village cheif again warned him and they all left.

one night.. A Lion really..*( I mean really ) attacked this bloke. This time he shouted again…His cries were genuine this time. But because of the false alarms raised by this guy twice before, no body came to help him thinking that he os playing a trick again.

To the villagers shock this man was found dead the next day morning.

Hmmmm.. Very good  story isnt it? Does it resemble closely the current situation with the false dowry and DV cases againt indian men?? Well YES!!!!!

But what is the difference?? Here it is not a man who is raising false alarm.. Here it is a woman.. GOD that IS a very significant difference. In the story above possibly if it were a lady, the villagers would have been more than happy to get foolled gazzilion times.

Anyway, here the system provides for such false alarms and Woman can do this million times. The courts and Police are just not tired of taking action everytime on false alarms. The funny thing is it takes action with equal enthusiasm. There is a winning point here for the everybody involved in this trick except the Boy and his Family. So what is the blanket cover statement for this game??? it is ” For a woman her sanctity is very important and she would never lie about it.”

 Gee!! what a point…

Ironically, here the system knows that the alarms are false. and they want more people to raise false alarms.. Every false alarms empowers the system … and who pays for this?? The man!!! Afterall its a Man’s world. he is responsible for everything. He must pay for the cost of all the false alarms..

In the US and UK, atleast to what I know, when a company raises a false alarm ( Burglar Alarm) by mistake and the police comes, The company has to pay if the alarm was found to be wrong. I think we also have that system in Indian Trains .. A lowsy red colored damn thing hanging on the top corner of the wall in the train compartment. It said “To Stop Chain , Pull the Chain.” Fine for misuse: 100 Rs to 1000 Rupees . ( Here too, a woman always has a valid reason and a man has no valid reason to pull the chain).. Anyway at least implementation sake, it says fine for misuse.  So how come the 498a and the DV act missed out on this ?? No fine or punishment for misuse? No words drafted in the law books?? Amazing and Amusing isnt it??  Shouldnt they have got some clue atleast looking at the Indian Trains?? ( Oh! Well, do they travel by trains at all ?? )

Well, Coming back to our stories, which are so well drafted to make up the character of a person and teach them the fundamentals of  How Humans should conduct themselves, Are these stories given any thought at all???
May be its time for our system to take a primer on all the stories that gandpas and grannys told to us.

But will somebody learn from the Man and the Lion story?? They have to! otherwise, the young generation will not find it consistant with what is happenning…. Hmm..  or shall we make it consistant by may be redrafting the story to replace the character of the false alarm man with a  woman. and the story will end along the lines of .. and hence for the Millionth time the villagers were fooled again on the same trick.. They will continue to be getting fooled for another million years….

Grandpas and Grannys, Its time for an update to your stories!!
